Day 4 Littlehampton to Hastings

Today is the last day, but unlike our plans will probably be the longest day yet. I decided after waking up in a damp sleeping bag that we would cycle all the way to Dover instead of stopping at Hastings and doing 40 miles the next day. We cycled for about 15 minutes before seeing a McDonald sign, my dad and I got very excited about this and went in for a breakfast. After our naughty McDonald's break, we kept going untill Eastbourne it was very flat here which was really nice. Then we cycled another 15 miles untill Hastings where we stopped on the beach for a smoothie and a cooling ice cream. From Hastings we had the final decision of weather we should keep going all the way to Dover or stay here. I decided that there was no point us staying in Hastings, as it was only 3:30Pm, so we kept cycling. There were a few huge hills on the way out of Hasting which where not expected. After Hastings however, it was very flat and fast which I really liked. At the 10miles left mark there was another huge hill, this was pretty hitting as I thought there would be no Hills left. Then, another huge shock came as we started climbing up a sand/dirt/really steep/off road track which was apparently the national cycle route!! When we finally arrived at Dover we were welcomed by my Uncle and Granny and later the Dover RNLI group. Overall the experience was amazing and I have really enjoyed it, I will definitely never forget this moment and how many lives we have all already improved. So far we have raised over £2,200+ For women and children in displaced countries, please share the just giving page with your family and freinds to help improve many lives:
